Bonding

Bonding is used to repair teeth that are chipped, cracked, or discolored; fill in spaces between teeth; make teeth look longer; and change the shape of teeth. Tooth-colored composite resins are used for dental bonding. The reason the procedure is called "bonding" is because the composite resin is bonded to the tooth. The advantage of bonding over crowns or veneers is that little to no enamel needs to be removed, preserving your tooth. Bonding is also one of the least expensive methods to cosmetically improve the appearance of your teeth.
